Lauren Elizabeth Eldridge

Lauren Eldridge is a researcher, specializing in the study of music as impacted by gender and race.

 

For five summers, I've traveled to camps throughout Haiti to volunteer and assess the impact of participation on identity. The results of my research are detailed in my Ph.D. dissertation, "Playing Haitian: Musical Negotiations of Nation, Genre, and Self."
